That's our mission. Our AI reads each document you upload and tells you exactly what to do with it: what to type, where, in your canton's official tax application.
The problem
Every spring, millions of Swiss residents sit down with a pile of salary certificates, bank statements, pillar 3a statements, and pension forms, open their canton's official tax application, and stare at fields they aren't sure how to fill. The forms are in three languages. The rules change per canton. The deductions have caps you only discover when the app silently rounds your number down. You end up Googling “what's line 15.1 on my salary certificate” at midnight or paying a tax advisor CHF 300 for forty-five minutes of copy-paste.
PaperTax is the thing we wished existed: a copilot that reads your documents, tells you what to type where, and stays out of your way.
How we think about it
We are not a tax advisor, a fiduciary, or a FINMA-regulated service. We're a software product that uses AI (Claude Agent, by Anthropic) to read the documents you upload and produce a field-by-field guide for your canton's official tax application (for example VSTax in Valais, ZHprivateTax in Zurich, or whichever app your canton uses). You still file yourself, and you still verify every number. The AI never presses send.
If your situation is complicated, anything out of the ordinary, talk to a certified Swiss tax advisor. PaperTax is not a substitute.

Your data isn't our product
Documents deleted within 24 hours of finishing. Swiss-hosted. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party profiles. No training of AI models on your data.
The AI can be wrong
Claude Agent can be wrong. We say so upfront, on the product, on every page, and in the Terms. Verify every entry.
