- Attach the statement in the securities section of your tax app.
- Positions, income and DA-1 values import from it — nothing to type by hand.
- After the import, the securities total should read 39'351 — broker cash is already inside.
Upload your documents. We show you what to type into your canton's tax app, field by field, in English. You file it yourself.
Interactive Brokers, DEGIRO, Schwab or Swissquote? Convert your export to a Swiss tax statement, free
You file in your canton's own app. These are the ones we write the guide against.
Salary certificates, bank statements, pillar 3a papers, broker exports. Add a line or two about your year: a move, a new job, a new account.
Each document turns into values you can open and check. Every one shows the page it came from.
Open your canton's app and follow the cards. Field name, value, where to find it, and what the app caps for you.
A salary certificate goes in. What comes out is the field, the value, and where to type it. Nothing is summarised away.
In — salary certificate (certificat de salaire) 2025

Out — what to type, where
Every document is read against your canton's deduction rules — insurance premiums, pillar 3a, property costs, training, commuting. Anything you are entitled to but did not claim shows up as its own card.
Upload the same documents and compare, entry by entry. The second pass flags wrong-year documents, missing months and values that do not match the paperwork.
No. An Interactive Brokers, DEGIRO, Schwab or Swissquote export becomes the official Swiss securities statement. You attach one PDF and the values load from it.
Try the converterTwo hundred lines of holdings, each with a year-end price and a dividend, is an evening of typing and a dozen chances to fumble a digit. Send us the export instead and attach the one PDF it produces.
A second pass reads the finished guide back against your documents. The sample return has a 2023 statement in it on purpose — see what the re-check says about it.
All 26 plus the federal return, not five and not just Zurich. Moved canton mid-year? You file once, in the canton where you lived on 31 December — we point you at the right one.
Every field keeps your canton's own wording, with a plain-English explanation, so you can still find it on screen.
The Cotisations 3a value of 6'000 looks wrong. I paid more in December.
The attestation you uploaded shows 6'000 — a December top-up may have missed it. Ask your 3a foundation for the final 2025 attestation; upload it and I'll update the entry and re-run the cap check (CHF 7'258 maximum).
You stay the person who files, and the person the tax office deals with.

No. You submit it yourself, in your canton's own app — ZHprivateTax in Zurich, VSTax in Valais. We read your documents and tell you what to type where. Your return stays yours.
All 26, plus the federal return. Zurich and Valais are checked line by line against the federal tax administration's own calculator. The rest are built from each canton's published guide.
They are stored in Switzerland and deleted within 24 hours of you finishing. Reading them happens at Anthropic in the United States, so they do leave the country while they are read. Nobody trains a model on them. The table above names every company that touches them and where each one is.
Free to read, no account. Every figure names the article or cantonal document it was read from, and the date a person last opened that source to confirm it.
Send your papers today, type them in whenever you like.
